Okay so here is my story...I am 28, I got married and divorced with in a year, we were together before that for 9 years. He was the main provider and when it can down to having to pay for the divorce and moving cost I took out some payday loans. Well one turn into 2 and so on and so on and now I can not repay them back at all. I am now getting very threating phone calls and don't know where else to turn. I have tried prosper but my credit is to low and now I am looking for some person out there who does personal loans for honest people. I need to get everything paid off (about 8,000) so I have one monthly payment which I can pay 340 a month with any interest rate. I have been at my current job for 9 years so employment is not a problem. I have looked into debt consoladation but they do not take care of payday loans. Is there any help for me??? |

Don't make any more payments on the personal loan. Talk to a bankruptcy lawyer. You would be better off to start over than to pay any more money to this type of bottom feeder.
I'd suggest you go with Chapter 7 so you don't have to pay the bottom feeder one red cent.
Bankruptcy is not pleasant but you have a good reason for taking it. At least talk to the lawyer (no charge for a preliminary consultation so nothing to lose).
And once you have filed the bottom feeder cannot contact you anymore. Plus your reason for the bankruptcy can be filed with the three main credit reporting agencies so other creditors will be advised of the cause of your bankruptcy. |

Don't get so desperate for cash that you take the offers that you will get here. Most of them are scams.
Go to a public debt consolidation organization. Usually, these are volunteer organizations but they carry a lot of clout with lenders. Look in the Yellow pages under the same headings where you find bankruptcy companies. They can deal with your creditor on your behalf without you having to take any more loans out. |

If you can make a 340 dollar a month loan payment you should be able to contact your creditors and arrange to pay them off within 2 years do not take out another loan that's stupid, if you can't pay the loans you already have you can't pay more loans. Take the money you are willing to pay toward debt consolidation each month and pay off the smallest amount first then the next then the next within 2 years you should have everything paid off without borrowing more money and getting further into debt. 340 x 12 x 2=8160 it will take you talking to the people calling you and working out a deal remember these people want their money and you seem like you want to help them get it they will work with you because they have to to get their money don't borrow more money that doesn't make any sense. YOU need to be disciplined and pay off your debt without getting further into debt. If you borrow 8,000 dollars at 16% interest rate (which you will get because of bad credit) and pay it back over 5 years which is standard personal loan length you'll pay about 2000 dollars in interest paying the same 340 payment each month, that just doesn't seem like a good deal. Take your 340 dollars each month and start making payments if you have a 340 dollar debt (credit card, gas card, pay day loan etc) pay it first and then one whole debt will be paid within two years you should be able to pay it all off without having to go further into debt. |

talk to someone at your bank. you might need a 0% for 12 months credit card. a good way to qualify quick styles for one is if you were to cosign on someones bank account (a family member or friend who has a good history with their bank) and you might just qualify for a pre-approved credit card. use credit wisely. eventually that will help you improve your credit. eventually if you do get the 0% one. STAY AWAY FROM HOLIDAY LOANS!!! |
