I would say you are out of luck as you cant mortgage more, and 3rd ones are questionable at best. Doubt you can do anything without your husbands signature.....but at least if he divorces you you get half his stuff since you live in Calif.
This only happens when people keep secrets from spouses...you should have told him before it became a problem... |

Are your debts gambling debts? Are you going to get your knees busted if you don't pay up by Monday? Just tell your husband...I went through the same thing several years ago with my husband.
I was hiding bills, hiding things I bought, and turning the ringer off on our phone when I fell behind and the bill collectors started calling. I didn't tell him because I KNEW he would divorce me (because he had said so). Well, then he started getting calls at work even though his name wasn't on the credit cards. BUSTED. Well, he was understandably FURIOUS but we worked through it. We are now out of debt and closer than ever.
Figure out a reasonable way to repay your debts and then lay it all out in front of him. Whatever happens, happens. You made your bed, now lay in it. Best of luck. |
