The counselor won't have it to give you. If the person you live with claims you on their income tax as a dependent, they would have the number - you could ask them. If not, you'll have to get a new card from the social security administration. |

"you are limited to three replacement cards in a year and 10 during your lifetime. Legal name changes and other exceptions do not count toward these limits. For example, changes in noncitizen status that require card updates may not count toward these limits. Also, you may not be affected by these limits if you can prove you need the card to prevent a significant hardship.
To replace the lost Social Security card:
Complete an Application For A Social Security Card (Form SS-5) [http://www.socialsecurity.gov/online/ss-5.html]; and
Show us documents proving:
Age; and
Identity.
Take (or mail) your completed application and documents to your local Social Security office [https://s044a90.ssa.gov/apps6z/FOLO/fo001.jsp].

I dont know if a counselor can give it to you or not.You need to call social security and tell them you lost your card.They will send you a new one for 10.00.Your counselor might be able to give you the number...which would help alot.Otherwise you will have to send for your birth certificate. |

Or you can go there and wait for about the whole day to register for a reprint.
