Funny thing, the less you need money, the more opportunity you have to borrow it. Most banks won't look at the terms you want, most finance companies want longer terms with more interest. Why not get a 12 or 18 month loan and pay off early? Or if trying to rebuild your credit, pay as agreed and not find yourself in a situation like this as you will have credit to help you out.
