I would suggest your own bank or credit union's web site. As a customer, they may be able to provide with a better rate than a company you do not have a relationship with. |

I am a loan officer in Seattle. I would highly suggest you finding a real person to talk with about any serious loan questions. If you are just looking for information, try e-loan.com, they have a pretty informitive web site, but again I would highly recommend talking to a person you can trust and will be there when you have serious questions. E-loan can show you rates, sure, but the reality is every time you call them you will be talking to a differant person. Customer service is very poor, especially when buying a home is usually the biggest investment in a persons life.
P.S. stay away from guys like the one answering after me. He obviously has know idea how to speak to "real" people. What he is stating is a loan that will be very high in cost and chances are you will want to stay in the realm of a Fannie-Mae loan. Unless you are having a hard time getting financing, stay away from ANY private lender.
Good god people, are you just Ignorant or just stupid. For all you people that got a .2% or .4% loan, ARE YOU JUST IDIOTS? Think about it, the banks loan their money to each other for around 5% right now for overnight, how is it that someone will loan you money for less then the annual inflation rate. Why would anyone other then your parents loan you money so when you paid it back was worth less then the money they gave you? You better look into your loan a little deeper. Boy those people really educated you on your loan didn't they, GEEZ!!! There is not an invester in the world that would put one cent into an investment like that. As you can tell, these people are really starting to piss me off. |
