A job would be the most appropriate way. You could also sell items on Ebay (either items you no longer want or need, or buy things very cheaply at yard sales or thrift stores and sell them for a profit online). If you are young, babysitting can bring in pretty good money, or yard work in the neighborhood.
If you are in dire straights (like maybe risking losing your house or car or something), you could ask your church for help.
You didn't really mention your situation, so I hope I addressed all possibilities for you.

Depends on how much extra cash you need. If you don't mind a bit of a sting, you can always sell plasma. It's not a half bad way to pick up a few extra bucks, and it won't really take a whole lot outta ya.
Otherwise, head over to a temp agency and tell them you're interested in any job they have available. |

If you don't have a job, get one. If you already have a job, consider a second job. My recommendations for second jobs are UPS, Whole Foods and Home Depot. They will be honest jobs that are flexible around your normal 9-to-5 job and even have some benefits for part time employees. I think UPS has some scholarship benefits if you wanted to pursue some more education to get a better job down the road. |
