Don't do that. If you don't have the $100.00 you need you won't have the money to pay all the bank fees they will charge you either. But to answer your question I think you can I bank with Regions and they will let me. |

You should talk to your bank. My bank will allow it, but they slam you with a 35% loan fee. |

they might allow it, but they will charge you a very steep overdraft fee. or the card may be denied, depending on your banks policy. Either way it won't work out in your favor. |

The question is, should you make the purchase. You are 100 dollars shore and even if Banco popular allows you to do so. Banco Popular will want a small fee for the transaction. You should wait til you have the rest of the money. Yeap!! |

A debit card deducts from money that is already in the account. It's not like a credit card. If you have overdraft protection, it will kick in when the purchase is made. and the excess $100 will come out of your savings or wherever you have it set. If you don't have overdraft protection, the purchase will most likely be declined when the debit card is authorized. My advice is to wait to buy it until you have the money or borrow from someone. |

They might, but they will charge you a hefty "overdraft fee" for the convenience of doing so. Check with your bank to see what this fee is (probably around $10-20) before you make the transaction. |

I bank with First State. They will allow an overdraft on a debit card. I haven't had the occasion to use that option yet, but in the event that one would..be ready for the overdraft fees. |
