You could always tell family that you want donations for your ring instead of Christmas presents. |

Well, I spent an arm and a leg on mine last year, and I never wear it anymore. I feel really guilty because of wasting the money. Make sure you really really want it before you bother with this. |

I bought my daughter's last year for Christmas at WalMart ... I paid about $67 for it because they were having a sale. I even made payments on it because they have a layaway plan for their jewelry still. The same ring would have been $200 through the school. KMart also has class rings. See if you can find something cheaper than $200. |

You wear your class ring for a few months after you graduate, and then never touch it again. Don't bother getting a fancy one.... |

If you do manage to earn or save up that much money, you ought to consider using it as a down payment on a car.
Because believe it or not, in five years from now you won't be wearing your class ring, not to mention many of the names of people you went to hs with will be distant memories. But the car will be paid off in that time. |

Don't get one. You can't afford it. Even if you could, I wouldn't recommend it. It will not be a part of your life down the road. |

Walk dogs, do yard work, offer to do extra chores around the house. There are a lot of things that you can do to get a few bucks. And I think that you should really make sure you want it first. |

Put an ad out for dogwalking or house cleaning, or maybe gift wrapping for the holidays....it won't take too long to get 200.00
Good Luck!

Sell stuff on Ebay or craigslist, have yard sale, have lemonade sell, get a job, cut down on spending, barrow from friend and pay back each week. Good luck!!!!!!!!!! |

try mystery shopping online. you'll get about 5-10 dollars per job but you have to have transportation. Try getting a seasonal job at the mall, everyone is hiring right now. Sell something that you no longer want on craiglist or e-bay and the girl who anwsered before me is correct. you will not care about your highschool class ring after 1 or 2 years. good luck |

i couldn't afford one either. i never did get one. they are over rated (seriously). if i did have one i wouldn't be wearing it now. i have been out of hs for almost 2 years, so i am not just one of "those old people who don't understand".
if you do want one bad enough try to find some babysitting gigs or save birthday/christmas money. |

why pay big bucks for a ring you will only wear maybe a year if that? let your mom buy it and later you can go to walmart get the one you want. by that time you will see what we mean. |
