I'm with compass bank and they been really good cuz they give me free checks for life so i dont have to pay and when i have to use other banks atm i get remibuse for use them. Yeah i was with bank of america and they just gave me stress everytime i went there. U might check if they have a thing going on cuz they might still have this free 25$ if you open a checking account and also u only need 25$ to open an account. |

I like to use credit unions, you get more benefits from using them. Usually higher interest rates on your savings, insurance on overdrafts, easier to obtain loans, free ATM use etc. |

I've been a Bank Of America customer since 1980. I'm very happy with their online banking as well as their level of customer service. I would recommend them to you. |

Narrow it down to who is convenient, then check them out and compare-there really are differences. You gotta know what you want to do now and where you might grow. Like' why don't you like your bank any more and what would be better? A small account needs different services that the person who makes $200,000 a year. Also, some people never go a minute without knowing their balances and others can't keep track or won't keep track (like my husband).
Don't forget about credit unions-I really like mine. Good Luck. |

I use Commerce which is pretty good. Bank of America has the program where they round up all of your debits to the nearest dollar and put it into a savings account for you. I use the debit card all the time so it seems like a great way to save money. |

I had the same problem. I was with NYCB and switched to Chase and love it. They dont hold your check for long like my bank did, and probably other small banks. The $ is available usually in a day. |

Key Bank offers free interest checking. I've been with Key for several years after switching from Huntington Bank which charged exorbitant (sp?) fees. |

I will go out of my way to use a credit union. their rates for investing are always higher and credit card/vehicle intrest is usually lower. Plus they are typocally smaller so if you have a problem, they will personally help you rather than send you to an 800 number. |

The best bank you could possibly use is USAA. The only issue is that you have to be in the military or the son or daughter of someone in the military.
If you don't qualify, credit unions can offer the most bang for your buck in terms of deposit rates, mortgage rates, and credit cards. |

My sister likes a local bank instead of a major bank like you've been mentioning. I use a credit union and like it really well. I had an account at BB&T and they were ok. Years ago I had an account at a Savings & Loan and they were ok too. |

I love banking with chase. Their basic checking is free. It is convenient for me because my school and employer banks with them. They handle situations, like stolen cards very well and with lots of respect and concideration. I think you should check them out. |
