Please whatever you do do not send them even penny it is fraud call your local bank or credit union and ask them about the nigerian fraud scam most banks are familiar with it. Some of these companies (if thats what you want to call them ) send you a check when you deposit it they tell you keep half or something like that and send them some back after this is done they have your info and you are left with nothing I have added a link to a page with different types of fraud from Nigeria. An advance fee fraud is a confidence trick in which the target is persuaded to advance relatively small sums of money in the hope of realizing a much larger gain. Among the variations on this type of scam are the Nigerian Letter (or 419 fraud) and "The Spanish Prisoner."The scammer proceeds to send the victim a counterfeit cheque or money order, with instructions requiring that it be cashed, and that excess funds be sent back to the scammer (advance fee fraud). When it is determined by the authorities that the money order is counterfeit, the victim is usually arrested and charged with various offenses relating to the scam.
you can file a complaint at this web addresshttp://www.ic3.gov/

Hi there,
I have this terrible feeling that you have been completely taken for a ride and you have fallen victim to this scam like many people do. I also kept getting similar emails from these kinds of people and they are good at what they do, but these emails are often written by very clever people, educated and well off enough to compose the stories that they do.
It is truly awful and very sad that you have been used in this way and I hope that the money you gave can somehow be replaced?. There is no chance of you getting the money back and yes, this man has definitely run off with what you gave him. No one wins money through a random selection of an email address I can promise you that. It is all about getting money out of you and why it makes me so angry that people do what they do to make their living out of the poorer people of society.
I really don't think you can do very much except to learn from the experience and go to your bank and try and get the money you sent this man canceled right away. There is a small chance that he might not be able to cash the money if you get it annulled as quickly as possible?. I am just so sorry and do know what you are going through as I have recently gone through something similar to get a loan so I do really feel very bad for you. This man will come to a very bad end if he continues to do what he is and won't get away with it forever.
You are a good kind person and never let anyone take advantage of that again. |

This scam has been around for awhile. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING to this person. You will be out more than $100 (or 6000 rupees) By transferring money these scammers can sometimes even clear out your entire bank account. Here is a link from scopes about this fraud/scam

This is most definitely fraud. It's commonly known as Advanced Fee Fraud, or the Nigerian e-mail scam. You have not won any money - as soon as you pay your 'advanced fee' you will never hear from them again. You can report the sender of the e-mail to the ISP abuse address, so that they block it. In fact, although it's too late this time, you are better to not even reply to such e-mails, as it alerts the fraudsters that your e-mail account is active, and you are likely to receive more. |

Think about it. Why would someone you don't know just call you out of the blue and say you won a lottery that you did not play?

Any unsolicited e-mail offers of money should be deleted. Africa is a major center of many scam operations. Responding to these people could actually be dangerous. Several people have mysteriously disappeared traveling to Africa to pick up their "winnings". Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. |
