To have two cars, a home big enough to house six, (mom is better off being stay at home with four kids.) Four college funds and retirement, health care had better be covered by your job or that alone will run you in the neighborhood of $15,000 a year.
Off hand, I'd say to live comfortably, you'd need between $150,000 and $200,000 a year. |

woah think about this.are you ready for kids?are you willing to work your butt off to support 4 kids while your husband/wife is stressing takeing care of 4kids while your working your but off.you need to think about it first.and yes you need to find a job that pays alot.getting payed 500$a month won't be enough to support 4kids.you'll have to be making atleast 2,000$ a whole year.yes i know its alot but its hard so be prepared for the consaquinses and think about money and kids first before you know what your doing. |

If you want four kids nowadays, how in the world do you think
you're gonna live middle class? I want to have a few more
kids to make it four and I have no thought that I'll make it to
the middle class. I work as a millwright mechanic fixing
machinery in a sawmill. Six and sometimes seven days a
week. I worked 12 hours today. I'd say educate yourself and
somehow find your way to a high paying professional job
because the trades don't do it anymore. 4 kids, middle class
I'ld say 80,000. |

Why do want to have four children and then go off to work and have the nanny/preschool raise them for the next 5 years. And then have a nanny/babysitter raise them for the next 5 years.
Even better, you could stay at home AND home school them and really be there for them.
The first 10 years are the best anyway, after they hit the teen years.....DO GET THE NANNY and if you are well off send them to their own part of the house and ignore them until they are real human beings again! Just joking. It would have been what I would have done with my kids if I could have!
But really there are so many firsts for them in that first part of life and it's great to be there when it happens. You can never go back, once you've missed it its' gone forever. |
