Be careful, by the time you get to use a card likee that with a crappy $200 credit limit, you will already owe $175 on fees to use it! (A rip off) |

Why do you want a card with a bad history? Do you mean that YOU have a bad credit history and you're looking for a credit card? |

Do you mean that you have a bad credit history or are you looking for a credit card from a company that has a bad history of credit.
Assuming it is the former, may I make a suggestion?
You are clearly no good with money, so give up trying now. You won't get one in any case. |

capital one do a credit card a bit like a top up. You send them money and they put it on your card for you to use and build your credit up. master card also offer this service. Visit them online and they will send you a form to fill in and send you first payment back to them and within 7 days you receive a credit card with your money on it. after that you can set up a regular transfer to keep it topped up |

what you need is to fix your credit, and that takes time. are you sure you need more credit? if you really need a credit card (like to pay something online), you may have to get a pre-paid card, or perhaps a debit card from your bank. but, again, getting deeper in debt is not the solution to your problems. |

I assume u mean for sum1 with bd credit history?? Don`t b tempted by Capital one unless u r 101% u can keep up on repayments. If you have a bank account try your bank, my credit rating was crap & hsbc gave me a card..started with £500 limit then wen repayments regular they offer a higher rate. |

I think you mean you have a bad credit history and would like to find a card that accepts people with bad credit ratings.

Pre-paid credit cards are the place to start. With many of them, you can actually rebuild your credit rating....other than that, there are no options until your credit is repaired. |

You've got no chance. Credit card companies wont touch you with a barge pole! Your best bet is to try and clear your debts or at least pay the minimum amount for a few months, maybe longer. After this, your credit rating should go up and you'll be able to apply for credit. |

I had bad credit years ago, but I've improved it a lot over the years and all of a sudden I started getting offers for credit cards in the mail. Constantly. So I picked one (I thought I could use one for emergencies) and they actually sent me one. (Capital One) I've paid on time and now my limit is $4,500. Technically you can still say I have bad credit, but they gave me one. And it's not those stuipid ones with the outrageous fees. So for those who say you can't get a card with bad credit, yes you can! |

I'm not trying to be rude but do you think this is really a good idea? You don't have bad credit history because your great with money. An additional credit card is only going to bury you further. Looking for an instrument that will help you get further in the hole is not a wise move. You should be looking for a way to clean up your credit. Not add to it. |

try www.moneysavingexpert.com it will tell you the best cards available, and also possibly help solve your debt problems. |

Try the pre pay cards they are a good way to start rebuilding your credit too. It works like this.. They will offer you a card with for example a £200 limit and you pay the company a deposit of £200 in advance, then you use the card as a normal credit card but making sure you pay the required amount back each month.
If you keep the card within the limits they will eventually increase the limit without asking for a larger deposit. Also if you use the card responsibly you can get your deposit back or they will upgrade your card.
Be very wary of offers for cards on the Internet and lot of them are scams these days. They ask for money upfront and then you never see anything of it again.
The best advice really is to stay away from credit for a time and try to avoid building up further debts and over burdening yourself financially.
And a comment to the the sad idiot (dutch master) who used this question to be abusive. I really feel sorry for you and pity the pathetic life you must have that you can only be rude to people asking simple questions to get on in life. |
