Many people have already suggested leaving it to a charity. Your method of doing so may help you see some of the good your money will do while you are still alive.
If this interests you, you may want to look into a 'Charitable Remainder Trust'. Both you and the charity can benefit from the money while you are alive. Since you are still alive, if you want, you can probably have some say in how your money is spent by being active in the charity.
After you die, the remainder of the money is transferred to the charity. |

do you not have any nieces,nephews, sister, brothers aunts or uncles. If not then a real good friend that you would like to help out in case of your death? There are many charities that would gladly accept your donations upon your death. It is still your money and your decision...do what you like with it...give it to the poor, support a children's centre or a soup kitchen...the possibilities are endless, there is a jungle out there...have fun. |

I like the charity idea... but I also think you might want to wait to make a decision like this. Definitely get something written up in case of an untimely death... but you never know if you will fall ill and need to hire a private nurse or caregiver to come into your home and take care of you. In which case, I would donate to that person. Were your parents ever ill? Did they have a certain hospital that took care of them and you would also like to take care of you? That might be an option. But, before you make any final decisions, keep in mind, you have not yet met all of the people you are going to meet in life :) |

Why not set up a foundation at your local community foundation in your name? If there is something you really love, like a sport or music etc, you could set up scholarships or help funding non-profit organizations You could help alot of people that might not otherwise get help. Just an idea for you to think about. Good Luck! |

Thats a hard question to answer without repeating what others have already said, donating to charity, needy families etc, all of which are very worthwhile things to donate money to.
Personally though, the way I would donate the remainder of my wealth once I die, I would give it to my friends, the people that have been around to keep me sane all these years, not an easy task, not to reward them, but simply to say 'thank you' what you will be giving them won't be enough to repay them but it could be the best way to repay them at least in the material sense. |

If you have no family that the best thing to do is to look into a charity that might seem interesting to you . there are so many of them so first thing that you need to is do research on what charity you want than look into where would they use the money that you leave |

Leave it to somebody you can trust to do the right thing with and help ppl. There are so many families in need right now due to the economy. Although I'm about to lose everything due to unemployment I still hand off a few dollars to a homeless Guy on the street. Do with it what would make you feel really good about yourself. Just a few dollars could make somebody's day. Just really think about what you do. |
