Ask neighbors if you could run errands for them around the neighborhood.
If you live near a small store (we call them corner stores) ask if you could do home deliveries. Or just do store runs on your own for neighbors.
Will your parents help? Ask if there is something to earn extra money. Summer is here...people need gutters cleaned, garages and yards cleaned. |

Chemist rounds!!! where i live, almost every chemist gets kids at about your age to do delivery rounds. I started when i was 13 and i get $10 a week for about an hours work. all i have to do is do a few local deliveries on my bike, then change the bins. My brother works at another chemist where they pay $8.50 an hour for about 4 hours work. Its a little more work but alot more $$$. I also have a friend who works at the same place as my brother twice a week and gets about $70 a week. So u should definately ask at chemists and pharmacies. Just go in one day and ask at the counter if they have any delivary jobs available (there is one delivary round each day apart from weekends). Either there will be a job, or they will put you on a waiting list and get back to you when there is a position available. Its a fun job because its active and definately not boring. Good luck! |

it's impossible to get a job in california because the legal working age is 14, but most don't hire until 16. you could do other things like:
tutoring
mowing lawns
dog walking
lemonade stand
make something homemade, like bracelets, food, art, so you can sell them
convince ppl u are a homeless person, and beg for money

When i was 13 i did a paper round ! after school and on a sunday got aroun £10 it was ok not too hard work .. But if your mum/dad knows anyone who own a buisness eg. shop,catering service.. maybe you should ask if they need any help there! |

the only thing you can do is deliver newspapers really, unless you ask neighbours to pay you for mowing their lawn/ washing their car etc. |
