Yeah I dont understand why the bank that it is drawn on wont cash it. If not take it back to your job and tell them what is going on and ask why the wont cash it. Have u though of getting a savings to use just to cash checks with u only usually have to keep 5 bucks in it. |

You really should get a bank account. If you don't want to pay for that, go to a credit union and open up a checking account. It will help you cash checks and do the little things for you. |

Go with a friend that has an account to their bank. Sign it over to them, and have them cash it. To sign it over, on the back of it, sign your name, then underneath that, write PAYABLE TO: Friend's name, then under that is where they sign. Now it's the same as if they were cashing a check. |

Money Gram, some gas stations cash checks. IF you take it to the bank with the name on it...they HAVE to cash it. You can get a friend with a bank acct. to go into their bank with you to cash it. Good luck |

If the bank that it is drawn on wont cash it, then it probably has a problem ! Otherwise, you are going to have to sign it over to someone else and let them deposit in their account and give you the money ....but that makes that person responsible for that check,,, |

You should take it to your local department store or post office (I dont know if you live in the Midwest but if you do Meijers will cash it for I think 2-3 dollars)
Or if you have someone like your parent or significant other you can sign the check over to them to take to their bank (but banks are the only place that will cash three party checks) |

If you don;t want to open a checking acct, then you have to pay fees to cash checks - that's life |

I just don't understand why you don't open a checking account so it will be easy for you. If you don't trust your money to the bank then at least open it so you can cash checks. The best thing to do is if it's a personal check then tell the issuer to just pay you money. |

I would open a bank account or how about asking a friend who has a bank account. What about an online bank or a grocery store? |

Sometimes "mom & pop" stores, bars and other grocery stores will cash checks, but they sometimes will charge a fee for that service, or give you a coupon for use in their stores.
Why don't you just open up a bank account? |

i dont know what to tell you... do you work for a corporation or self-owned company? Talk to your manager either way about it, or see if you can get in touch with the landlord and show him/her the check and it will be obvious that you have the money you just cant cash it. But really, I don't know why you don't want a checking account. Ever hear of free unlimited checking? Use bank of america, or just a local credit union. It's better than goin crazy! |

Open up a checking account. Some of the banks give you money to deposit upon opening one. Problem solved |

You need to have an account. There are mitigating circumstances that stop random check cashing these days. |
