Odds are pretty good that no reputable institution is going to let a non-related party co-sign for you. And anyone that doesn't know you well enough to know if you're good for it isn't going to do it for any price.
Your best bet is to learn to live on cash. You can also get a secured credit card that is a legitimate card without outrageous fees and interest rates at some banks and other institutions.
They work like this - you make a deposit of cash, and they give you a credit line equal to your deposit. As you make regular payments, they start to increase your credit line, and after a while they also release your deposit/security.
It's the best honest way to start a credit history.
Also you can easily get a car loan IF you have a good sized down payment.
As others have suggested, credit is a very risk thing for someone who doesn't already have a good handle on cash management. If you're struggling now (and I understand personallly how hard being a single parent can be), then getting a credit card is only likely to make your situation a lot worse.
Trust me, learn to manage on cash for a few years first. Then you can think about it. |

Only if I suddenly go insane or your loan is no more than $100.
If you want to build a credit then get a debit card and use it, but never spend more than you have in the bank account. This will show that you can be responsible with money. Overtime you will hopefully build a good credit history.

You're really going about this the wrong way. No one in their right mind is going to co-sign a loan for you. You asking for money here is asking for trouble. You may end up being more broke than you bargain for if you go through with this.
What you need to do is check your local resources in your town. I don't mean banks or credit unions because they will likely turn you down. What you can do is check out this site, they have advice for establishing credit. Try starting out with a secured credit card.

take the $100 and put some food on the table..
also check with smaller banks they have programs to help |

Hmmmmm, and you sound like such a good credit risk.
Recommendation: Credit is not the answer. Credit should be something you only use to buy assets (something that will actively make you money). Cash is for buying liabilities (things that immediately lose value after purchase, continue to lose value with usage, and or require more money to maintain over time). |
