Valid in one state, valid in all (full faith and credit clause of the Constitution.)
(That ia something some states worry about gay marriage -- if one state allows it, it should be that all states have to honor it. Some states are trying to get around that -- but it is a side issue here.)
IF you want yuo can get married fairly quickly in Caliifornia too, but Vegas is reportedly very easy, and it will count in California too. |

it doesn't matter where you get married you're married everywhere. unless you have a gay marriage (i'm not saying you're gay but i'm just saying the rules) in canada and you trying to say you're married here, bush won't allow it. but if you have a reg. marriage in any country it's a marriage here. |

Except for Britney Spears, getting married in Nevada is just as good as getting married anywhere else.
Probably quickest to just do it at the courthouse in CA though, but perhaps not as romantic. Sometimes for an extra $25 they will play some music and do a mini-ceremony. |

It is valid everywhere. But if you can just go to the courthouse and get it done, it is just as easy. I was married twice my first marriage was in nevada and my second one was here in california. It is very easy to go to the courthouse here in ca. Plus it might be easier to get benefits too depending on your employer etc. |
