Well, I'm your age and did both. In truth, after I payed off the house completely, I saved for a few months and bought the sports car. It was an amazing feeling knowing I owned the house outright. Then you still have time for the car! And when you're ready.......man do I have advice about which car to buy......lol!! Good luck :) |

Pay all of your bills. Pay on your house. Invest in something that appreciates in value. Cars do not appreciate in value. |

Invest it... make it turn into more money so that someday you can afford to both pay off the house and buy the car. |

The house is an investment, the car is not. |

in my opinion, if you have the ability, pay off your house. you'll be happy to be rid of the monthly mortgage, you'll pay less tax in total and you'll officially own a house.
you can always buy a sports car later. but not too much later because a young guy in a sports car is said to be cool, while an older guy in a sports car is going through his mid-life crisis. |

Pay off your house, you will end up saving a lot of money that would normally be going to interest, then any money you make from now on can go to your "car" fund :) |

I think you should pay off your house... why? Wouldn't it be a HUGE relief to think, "oh hell yeah, I don't have to pay for this anymore, it's entirely mine!". Maybe in the near future you'll have another oportunity to you your sports car. You're still young ;o) |

I got myslef a sports car and it was AWESOME, yet it wears off pretty fast and then the repairs and high maintenance are the fun killers.
Though I had a good time, I wouldnt do it again |

you should spend it on me!!! No only kidding... ya know, I would say the sports car. I know its not practical and not "the right thing" but at your age... you have earned it. Plus.. no matter what people say, a guy in a sports car is sooo hot! |

Think of the responsibilities that you have. If you have almost none, then buy your car, but, don't you think you owe it to your family to finally pay off your house? Plus, you'll invest the money and be free from any further payments. If you buy your car, that's just being materialistic. Maybe you should just invest your money and wait until it's big enough to pay for both. |

Pay off the house, make payments on the car. |
