that's very good money compared to most, but it's meaningless if you just spend it all and go heavy into debt. I don't make that much but live better and am more comfortable than many who make more. It's how you manage it, less than it is how much you make. |

Depends on which city you live in and the cost of living in your city. In a southern city e.g Mobile, Alabama, that;s a lot of cash. In NY, NY it's probably average or median income.
However, I still think it's hgher than the national average. |

According to every survey I've seen, it's above average, but where I live it seems like everybody and his Grandma are making at least that much. I don't see how anybody can live on less than $100k / yr. |

i would say hell yeah, i live in fl and in my area 45k is the average income, and this is a progrssive city (Tampa) i make about 65k and i'm basically skilled labor -- comparing your income to others is going to depend on who you're comparing it with, compare it to a small biz owner, a good salesperson, or an executive and you might be about even -- compare it to someone making minumum wage and you are the man |
