Oops, your account has been susp

no, get a credit card and buy everything with it and pay it all off.
moron that gave me a thumbs down; thats how you establish credit. |

you should be able to -- if they give you too much trouble give that an extra months rend up front!!! |

I think so. If you show you have had a consistant job for at least a year, that will look good for you. I rented a house when I was 20 with someone else (the other person had terrible credit, I had very little) and we didn't have any trouble. |

I would say most likely. You didn't say how old you are, but if older and responsible enough you're a good bet. I use to own a 2 fam and when looking at prospective tenants, looked for and checked on current employment and that was about it. Banks will not tell you how much money is in an account and getting a credit score is not something ordinary people who rent apts. do.. As long as your income is good and you have been employed for awhile, it's a safe bet you will get to rent. I found it doesn't pay to try to contact former places rented or people listed as references, as these people are usually friends or relatives and will tell you the person or persons are good people, no matter what.. As for former landlords, if they want you out, they'll say you're a great renter just to get rid of you. lol So, I only went by verification of employment and if the people seemed nice.. Pot Luck. So, don't worry too much.. Good Luck.. Joanie |

All you need is steady income and the complete deposit up front along with your first months rent. |

It depends on the company that you apply to. There are some who will give you the opportunity to establish credit with them so shop around. Ask lots of questions and talk to the property manager. You may just end up paying a higher security deposit but I know someone will give you an apartment. Hope this helps and good luck :-) |

This depends on these conditions:
Do u work?
For how long?
How much do you earn?
What is your debt load?
What loans have you previously had?
How well did you pay them off?
Do you have a police record?
You may need a co-signer if you are not "aces" in these area's.
Good Luck |

Yes, you will just need to have a job or other source of income |

Hi! That depends on where you live, in Canada, you can as long as you have good references - and a job |

If you have a lot of money to set in the table maybe not, but the reality is that without a credit report the possibilities of getting a loan to buy an apartment are zero. You should seek for someone because the bank is gone as you for a cosigner with credit experience and good score. |

Not likely, only if you know the owner. You will most likely need a cosigner or some credit. One secret they don't tell you about credit in general is that if you pay it off immediately and have no balance at the end of the month, you gain almost nothing. What you do is, go to the bank, get a small credit card, fill it up, and pay more than the minimum payment, but don't pay the whole thing off at once. No balance means no credit, but they want to see that you are able to handle the payments and not scrimp.
Good luck! |

It will be really hard. Creditors like to see credit history before they offer anytype of credit. As the previous person said get a credit card charge on it an pay it off. Example: Fill up gas and then pay on it the next day. |
