divide 1160 by the 1333. i think it comes out to 1160 being 87% or so of the 1333. there is a 13% difference. i think that is how you do it lol |

Three ways:
1. He makes 1333/1160 of your salary, so type those numbers into a calculator. Answer: 1.149 and change; this means he makes 14.9% more than you do.
2. You make 1160/1333 of his salary, so type those numbers in. Answer: 0.8702 and change; this means you make 87% of what he makes (or 13% less than he does).
3. You guys together make 2493 a month, of which you make 1160/2493 and he makes 1333/2493. Those numbers are 46.5% (your contribution) and 53.5%.
If you're dividing up utilities, rent, etc. as a function of your incomes, those should take care of your needs. |

alternatly add the 2 together and defid each by that amout then you would get the persentage you each put into pot |

Take is salary and divide it by yours and subtract one. x/y -1
You will get a decimal, so mulitply by 100 to get the percentage. |
