I would talk to your bank. Most banks will give you instant credit when you deposit cash. |

As long as you deposit it before your banks cut-off it will be available tomorrow. Cash is garanteed funds. If you go in the morning you should be fine. If you go in later in the afternoon ask the teller what the cut off time is. Some banks run on same day till they close. However, a lot of banks have a time that they switch over to the next day. |

Well... it would make sense for a cash deposit to post to your account immediately....but unfortunately.... if your bank has a turnover time... ( meaning...after 2 or 3'oclock..they are actually working on next business day)...., then no... that would not be the case.
You need to check with your bank and make sure that they are working on Current Day Business for your deposit to post right away. If not.. you may have an issue paying your bill |

As long as you paid cash over the counter, the money should be availble for you almost straight away, if it's a cheque then it can take 5 days plus to clear.
Whenever i've paid cash in to my account, by the time i've got home and checked my account online its already there.
I'd definately ask in the bank when your paying it in just to double check. |

It depends on your bank. They have a "Funds availability Policy" that will tell you exactly what you want to know. To be sure the money is available for you the bank can work with you but you have to ask them. Just tell someone at the bank what your up against and ask them to make the funds available for you to pay this bill, they can and most of the time will do this for you. Good Luck>
P.S. Don't forget to thank Dad |

shoukd be avaliable if you pay it into your account before 3:30pm (well that is what my bank says).
Alternatively, why not get your dad to pay your bill for you with his card over the phone. |
