Yes you will earn well but you won’t feel so good if you are sensitive to reality and numbers aren’t the only thing you will need to count. Saying that; if you feel able to make a difference; go for it.

Hopefully math is your best subject, because grammar and spelling obviously isnt. |

I agree with the answers that say you need a strong background in English and Economics. You have to be able to communicate very well with your clients in order to become a successful banker.
If Math is what your really good in, consider a degree in Engineering. Now they make REALLY good money.
Good luck! |

To be a banker, you need to be good in English to communicate. Then Economics, accounting, geography, law relating to banking and business management. Then maybe if you are hardworking you can make some money. |

I think you area assuming that, because in a bank staff deal with money that they are rich... not the case at all. |

Erm, in case you don't read newspapers, all the banks are going bust and are laying off all of their employees.
So bankers earn approximately ... the same amount as everyone else who claims Job Seeker's Allowance. |

Bankers get paid well. It's nothing spectacular, but it's not bad.
if you are really good at math, I'd suggest engineering.
You'd get a lot more money that way. |

This is a strange question because I'm not sure what language it is written in. Your are not a Red Indian perchance if so you are very welcome. Cherokee or Sioux no problem.
So, you are planning to be a banker. Bankers require more than just Maths, they also need English, Economics, Statistics etc. You could find out exactly from your local library. All of the subjects would need to be to a high level, perhaps including a Professional Accountancy Qualification.
Whatever you do in the banking world or in the world of work generally you do get paid. How much you get paid relates to how clever you are and your position in the job. The more qualifications you get and the higher you go,the more you earn. That's the theory anyway.
I don't know how old you are, but I would certainly get a good Maths qualification and definitely get a good qualification in English. I would start there by when you ask a question don't write it as though you are writing a text message.
Go to the library, sort out a job and what qualifications you require and then find out where you can get them. Can you get help from your school or college counsellor. It will be hard work but you can do it if you really want to do well and earn a reasonable amount of money. Good Luck. |
