If you could exchange your credit card limit for cash, would you?
If you had a credit card with a limit of
$500, $1000, $10,000, or $100,000
would exchange that amount for cash
if you could?

hmmm. well if i didn't have to pay it back, sure! i would love to accept it as help for the bills! lol but if i had to pay it back like a credit card, then nah.

cloudstrife1ph
no. i think you have the cash advance w/c is a part of your credit account for that.

using credit card limit like today is more convenient. you don't need for lower bills if you only bought few items and you don't have a bulk in you wallet. it is also more "secured" because you can cancel an unapproved charge while if you have paper money and you lost your wallet or drop it then it's permanently gone.

almost all establishment now accepts credit card so i don't see the reason for carrying huge amount of money just to buy something.....

why would anyone prefer cash over credit when both goes on the path that "you need" to pay it in the end?

if i dind't have to pay it back, absolutely. i'm getting calls every other night from another credit card company saying "i'm pre=approved"

I wish I had exchanged it for gold 6 months or a year ago.

No way! I hate credit cards! Once you run up a card it is nearly impossible to pay it off because of the high finance charges.

no. Having a line of credit to fall back on is good. I'd rather have the safety net over the windfall. Then again, if I had such a windfall, I wouldn't be the type to spend it.

Only if I didn't have to pay interest + the money back.

Everyone with a credit card pretty much has that option...but it's irresponsible in the long run (sometimes it makes sense in the short term).

AM-NM has really bad credit card terms. I don't have to pay for cash advances (part of the reason that it makes sense sometimes).

Nope. With a 3% cash advance fee and an APR of 10% or more, that is a bad deal.

maybe, its nice because its just a card and not a whole bunch of bills, but there is so much credit card theft and identity problems. it would be nice
you thinking about starting a company?

its better to have cash thats why c c exist. to make people pay for cash when they dont have any. most people think they have cash in their credit card but they have Credit instead for SOME cash which the credit card later charges you for
