I'd report it to the police. After (I believe) 30 days, if no one claims it, it becomes legally yours, and you can do whatever you want with it. Granted, you'd pay income tax on it, but I'd still be happy walking away with $400,000. |

Honestly depends on where I found it. Turning it over the authorities doesn't seem like a good idea, they'd just divide it amongst themselves. Depending on the circumstances, if there was no chance I could be tracked down - I'd keep it and set myself up and give the rest to the homeless themselves. Many charities have the same reputation as the cops, they keep 75% and give 25%. |

I would go straight to the police and explain that I had found the $500,000, and though I did think about keeping it, I felt so guilty I came straight to them!
If I'd had my Wheaties that morning I might even ask if there was a reward. LOL! |

One million is not a lot buddy. Cheap technology combined with Net and 10 "bites" of thinking can make you a millionaire faster than you can think. So please when you find a million dollars drop it at the closest charity. some kids need it. |

Report it to the police. You woun't know the money is legal or some fake notes. If the money is real, I guess the owner might be very worried, if he find out he just lost the money which he might need for some reason. I guess he will reward you also if u had return it to him. |

Ok....In this day and age...Can't happen...i mean returning it... look at it this way... what if God sent you that money... I mean we are always saying ...GOD IF WE HAD MONEY WHAT WE WOULD DO....Think about it.... you remember don't you.... Well this would be my oppurnity to do those things i realy wanted to do...
