I work for a charity and I am the fundraiser, amongst many other roles. I would give ВЈ500,000 to my charity and that, along with the interest, would keep it going for many years. It is becoming increasingly difficult to raise funds for valuable charitable endeavour.

I would buy a nice, 4 bed semi somewhere near the people I love, buy and insure a nice new car, learn to drive it, have a holiday, get some tummy surgery as I have silly amounts of flabby skin from having 2 kids in 1 year, buy a few bits for my kids and my other half and then put about 100,000 into a current account to live on.
Then I'd give the rest to charity - I can live comfortably so I sure don't need it!! My partner would still work, and I would go back as soon as my kids were in school.
