Invest it. Save that money. Stuff it under the mattress and sleep on it every night.

Put $400 into a savings account. The first thing EVERYONE needs is an "emergency fund" of at least $1000. You just need this to have so you don't have to go into debt when the car dies or the TV explodes, or your kids flush the ipod down the toilet.
You need to build on that over time, but $400 is a good start.
Give $50 to a charity of your choice. Feed the Children is a personal favorite. There are a lot of hungry people out there who will need help this winter.
Spend the last $50 on yourself. Get some new clothes, or even better look for a Tuesday night steak special. Lots of places have special offers on Tuesday night, round here you can get a huge steak, a baked potato the size of Missouri and a pint for about $15. That lets you take someone out with you, AND you still have enough left for chocholate cake for dessert. |

I was going to say something really lame like....save it or invest it. Then I looked at the some of the answers and figured out why no one has much money. They all deserve to spoil themselves so they spend it all.
Guess I don't fit into society anymore. |

I had $500 and I spent it all on jewelry. I'd like to say it went for something more useful, but at least I can resell it if I need money. With the way banks are these days, maybe that's not such a bad thing.
Anyway, if you want to pamper yourself, is there anything you have been wanting but couldn't afford? Think about it, and then go for it if you can afford to. |

Save it! But if you feel the need to splurge, spend like only $100 and buy you something. But you will feel GREAT down the road when you save the rest.
As for Larry's post, that makes me hungry right about now. Too bad it's Friday and not Tuesday. Guess I'll go raid the fridge. |

Can you save it for christmas?? What about starting to build up emergency money-3-6 months living expenses (those expenses that are vital for survival-without job, etc)
