I would divide what I have between all three-make sure they all get something but rent and gas do come first. You can come eat and do your laundry at my house if you want to come to ATL. |

Rent always comes first.
Then travel costs because you have to get to work to keep earning.
then food.
nothing else matters and can wait till you have more money |

Depends on what bills they are. Mortgage or rent has to be paid first, followed by utility. I would try and pay the most important one and put the other 2 off for a week. The thing is to talk to them, it avoids all those threatening letters! |

pay the phone bill and call the other two to tell them I need to exeed my payment deadline |

Out of the three, pay the most pressing one first. If the other two have a due date the following week, then leave them. But, don't default. Telephone the other two and explain the position telling them exactly when you will pay and stick to that promise.
Take a look at the site below, it has some good tips for keeping out of debt which may be of help to you.
Best of luck. |

pay the priorty debts first!
Water, electricity, rent, council tax, gas!
All others can wait!
The first thing to do is talk to your creditors and say that your willing to make small token payments, (non priority debts will accept £1 a week)
If they give you greif then get an income and expenditure form and send it in and get help from www.cccs.co.uk its free and very quick you can do it all online in a flash!
Dont worry its all cool! |

why don't you just com to an arragement with giving something to all three so by the following week you can sort it out without any added stress njoy |

I would phone each company first, ask if a partial payment now and payment of the rest next week would be okay, and do the partial payment thing with the ones that are willing to go along with that. You'll know what to do by what they tell you. No point making a partial payment if it's not going to help you, and it's always best to communicate with the ones who send the bills because it's impossible to know how they're going to react to something unless you talk to them. |

Honestly it depends which bills. For example if I didn't pay the gas bill risking having the supply cut off I would probably make that a priority. If it was a mobile bill I'd be comfortable letting them wait until next month. Mortgage/rent, heating, food and petrol/travel are my priorities after which others can wait until next time. If it's any comfort most of us are suffering under this crappy Government and it's financial mismanagement. :0) |

Only pay the priority bill, and pay the others next week.
It is not unreasonable for you to have been away from home for a week - if the other 2 chase you for payment. |

Always leave you water bill until last. They are not allowed to cut you off by law! |

People create their own bills, this question is dependent on the survival factor.
If bill 1 is for accommodations, shoulda bought it instead. doesn't matter either way, choose to be homeless with power or have no power and a home.
I would think that the most demanding would be home, food then the other fun stuff that is really non essential. |

I would see if any of those bills were eligible for a payment extension/arrangement. If not then I would start with the most important bill like rent, electricity, gas. If it were cable or phone, it would just have to get disconnected until I had the money for it. |

depends, you should pay the highest interest rate one first then worry about the second 2, although, some will fine you just for not making a payment at all, in that case you should pay a little to each, it just depends on the bills. |
