If you are worried about banks etc because of the financial situation i would advise to split between numerous bank accounts as the government covers a certain amount in each account if the bank folds.
Here in UK it was £35,000, £70,000 if in joint names.
Property is always a good investment (well in UK anyway) even though prices are falling, they will rise again and in the mean time rent is going through the roof so good income.

First convert it to pounds sterling that is undervalued right now and then buy gold bullion that some analysts believe will double in price in the next year. Next year, I would sell some gold and buy bonds if interest rates have gone back up and live comfortably off the interest. But first, I would have a beer to celebrate! lol |
