I once bought something for 50pence UK. I then listed this item on Ebay and it sold for £62.00. So I would visit a boot sale, charity shop or similar and use £4.00 of it to buy something. The last £1. I'd go wild with!

I'd probably give it away to someone homeless (and therefore substantially worse off than me). By that point £5 won't make a difference to me either way really.

there's an old (quite unrealistic, but nice) saying that quotes:

A helium inflator and a bag of balloons. I'd sell each inflated balloon for £1.50min - then I'd have more money to buy some other goods that I could sell on for a profit on the street etc etc until I'm a millionaire. Its as simple as that.
