You balance shows -100.

So you can either buy something worth 100 and bring yuor balance back to 0.. or close the account and have them send you a check for the 100. Which only takes about 13 weeks lol.

Depends on the card company. I know my parents did that once with their chase mastercard and as a result they just had a positive balance that went against future purchases. However, I have heard of some companies actually charging you a penalty for carrying a positive balance on a credit card.

Read the terms and conditions of your credit card, probably on their website.

They will credit your account for $200.00, that will leave you with $100.00 credit balance on your account. You can either leave it there, or ask them to mail you a check of $100.00. They will definitely send you a check. My advice to you is to request that they send you the $100.00. Money is always better in your pocket than in someone elses pocket.

But why would you want to send them the $200.00 in the first place? Unless it was an error on your part.

You'll have a $100 credit. If you're not going to use the card for a while, call them up and ask them to send you a check.

if you don't charge anything else on it they will refund your money- mail you a check.

You now have a $100.00 credit to use towards future purchases. I would never recommend you leave any overpayment on a credit card due to a bad experience I once had with Chase Visa. Anytime I have overpaid I now immediately contact the credit card company to return the overpayment amount. You would receive a check in about 7 to 10 days.

phaldo
You should have $100 which covers your next $100 of purchases. So next month, if you buy a $150 item, you only pay $50.

It will credit your account for a certain number of months, then if you don't use it in the specified time, they mail you a check for the difference. Different companies have different time periods before they cut you a check.

You will get a credit. Your statement will show -$100 on the balance column.

doodoo27
you will have credit.

Honeyluv
You will carry a credit and if you do not use it within a certain period of time, they will issue a refund.

If you are asking what I think you are, the answer is no, they will not pay you 20% on it. it will just be a credit to the account
