I have 6 sister and 2 brothers and one single mom and they are all flat broke. They pull me and what little money I make every which way. I would set up funds for each of them so I would never have to worry about there financial issues again. I'd estimate about 5 million per person just to make sure they have enough after taxes, so about 45 million dollars. After that, I would give about another five million to charity, spread out over a couple years, for the tax write off. The rest is all mine. |

I would give 10% to my church first thing. Then I would buy each of my children a new car of their choice and pay off the cars that they currently own. Then I would go to an abuse shelter and help a single woman with children get a home and a car. I would take her and her children shopping for a day and get them whatever they wanted whether it be for them or their home. That would be great fun. I would just make them make two promises. One not to tell anyone where it came from and two, not to go back into the abusive relationship.
I have taken needy children shopping at Christmas before, using my own money and it was the best feeling in the world. You want to know something, they didn't get anything for themselves. It was all for their parents, grandparents and siblings. |

I would probably give about 5 million to charity, but I would do my research on which charity (charities) very carefully. I am sure it would be charities associated with animals too. |

Is that $100,000,000 before or after Taxes?? If it's after then I would defiantly give at least $10 million to charity. About $8 million would go to a cancer charity and $2 million would go to the SPCA.
Then I would give each one of my family members $1 million and tell them to invest it wisely and not to ask for more. I would put $5 million in a trust fund for each of my 2 boys tell they were at least 25.
I buy a huge peace of property, about 80 or so acres, full of trees. My house would be in the dead center of it, with only one road going in and out. The trees along side the road would be tunneled. My house would have secret passage, and trapped doors. There would be 2 barns, kind of next to each other. One would be for my boys play area. It would be a 2 story barn with a slid coming down from the second floor, and any other fun stuff I could think of. The other barn I would split in two parts the up stairs would be my office and the down stairs would be were I would have huge cages for Ferrets, Cats and other small a animals. I would open a Pet Boarding Business. I would go to school to becomes an Accountant and a Vet Assistant. Then I would just have a good vet on speed dial, just incase. I would still make my husband work, only he would be able to do what ever he wanted so he would probley open his own business to. On the out skirts of our property I would have some guest houses built, they would be nice and cozy, not too small but not huge ether and not to close together.
Can you tell I have thought about this before?

None of it. When you have that much money, it is your responsibility to take part in the national economy by employing people. That means creating a means of production and making sure it is profitable and stable. Good jobs for decent people is what you are after.
Stealing money from that situation to hand it off to crack addicts is immoral. I mean, how would YOU feel if your boss came to you and said, sorry, but you are being downsized. The company isn't doing so well because of all the money we donated last year. Meanwhile, that cash is being used so that bad people can smoke crack and have children out of wedlock from criminals.

I'd probably give about 10% to charities, but I'd set it up so that it payed them regularly, not just once. Like an investment trust. I've also got a few family members I'd want to set up in housing. I'd pay for certain improvements on our church, and support more of it's causes.

If i had 1 million dollars i would definitely give off some of it. First i would send around 2 million to charity. About another 2 million to my church so that they could go on missions. and last i would hand the rest out equally to my whole family. Both mom and dads side. Most of all i would give some to myself. |

I'd put some of it in a trust, place the entire amount in a bank account or a blue chip stock that's steady (ex. Bank shares) and donate the interest and dividends to Charities. Assuming your bank account paid 2% interest, that is $2 million dollars a year. If you purchased what you need, and donate the interest, your giving a continuous donation to charities for years to come. Think about it. How much of that money are you really going to spend? And you would help charities much more by giving multiple and steady interest payments which will help them over many years to come. |
