I would totally giver up work... wait i don't work.
I think i'm going to have to find a job first.

Ahwell
I would give up work for less than a million! Most definately give up for 5 million and have a change of lifestyle, too.

i would not give up work for one million but i would for five, because a million is alot of money but it would run out, and with five you could invest and live off interest.

I wouldn't work if I had one half million.

i would like to set up an animal sanctury for elderly or unwanted pets. i wouldnt want to waste it all on crap - id want to do something worthwhile.

dawnsmysticalwonders
If I won 1 million I would not quite work because by the time they took out taxes and I paid off my debt I wouldn't have much left to last me a life time..but if I won 5 million yeah I would most definitely cut back my hours or do be a shop owner like I always wanted to! Man that would be so cool if all the rich people in the world would adopt a poor family! LOL or at least a time time donation! Woohoo!

Id give up work if i was fed up

1 mil isn't enough to quit work, although it's close.
Now, 5 mil is enough. You can live off the interest if you invest wisely and are not trying to live like a Rock Star.

Hayley
No i would invest in my business and work when i like...

5 million would also do the same but be abit lazier about it!

£1million no,£5million yes.

coach
Sad to say but a million dollars doesn't go that far. I would continue to work...mostly for health benefits. I would definetley consider a different job with less stress that carries full benifits. 5 million yep I QUIT!!! Would invest about 3 mil of it and live off intrest. That is of course if you mean after goverment takes their chunk I get 5 million.

No, I wouldn't give up work for either, but I wouldn't be so worried about what line of work I was in, my hours, the pay etc. I would possibly try new jobs that I have intrest in, and look around alot more, not take the first that was offered.

I would give up work because I would be lucky enough not to need more money and someone else could have my job. If I had £5 million, i would spread the joy!

Carla P
I would give up work for 5 million! But I would invest it to get into a type of business that I dreamed of so that when that money ran out I could leave something for my children and grandchildren to continue making a fortune with.

I would probably do MORE work

going to get massage training if and when I can afford it, and it looks like I will be able to, with aid and student loans

I would invest it in real estate, small cabins, large tracts of land

same for 1 million as for 5 million

also same for 17K in debt, like I am now, except I will have to wait and move more slowly

James
