I would work less as a rule. Although as one person said, it is not enough to live well off the interest, you can invest it safely and live without extravagance if you don't work (and don't live in NYC). I just believe that we need to work to validate ourselves, but I'd definitely not do more than 30 hours a week, and I'd take two months vacation, scattered, or at least one month at a time, then scattered. I'm assuming you mean that one person would be free to dispose of that whole amount without the responsibility of a family. |
