It's very difficult to get a real paying job when you're 13, but you can make little businesses yourself in your school (of course, without the faculty knowing). I used to make and sell chocolate lollipops and they sold for 1 to 3 dollars! Believe me, people loved to buy them because they tasted delicious and had such beautiful shapes. Some kids also make bracelettes to sell for about 3-8 dollars. It makes good money because it soon becomes a trend to have them. Give it a go. |

Ask your neighbors if you could cut their grass for $ 10. $ 20 if they have a pretty big lawn. |

Ask your parents if there is anything you can do around the house to earn extra money. If they can't or won't do it... you can rake leaves, mow lawns, wash windows, babysit, etc. for neighbors. I used to collect pop cans when I was younger to pay for fireworks on the 4th of July. I went around the neighbor hood and asked everyone for their cans. Most gave them to me happily and sometimes I made 50 bucks or more. Of course you have to get someone to take you to the store once you get the cans. |

Ask your parents? I'm not an expert on labor laws but I believe you have to be 16 years old to be legally employed, and maybe 15 with parental approval.
You could always do work like mow lawns, paint fences, wash cars and other odd jobs for cash |

Talk to your parents about how you intend to spend the money, and ask them for suggestions on how you could make money.
A good thing to do is probably odd jobs like a paper route, mowing lawns and so forth |

You can always find a privately owned business like a pizza shop and try to get a job there or you can go around you neighborhood baby sit or do chores for them. |
