Well if you have junk, sell it on ebay.
If you like kids, babysit.
Try to work out a job chart with your mom and dad. My dad pays me if I do yard work, wash the car, etc. But I don't get an allowance.
Another idea is to create a business with your friends. I'm starting one with mine soon. |

Babysitting or dog walking are jobs you can do at your age without much trouble. Make a sign, put it up and see what happens. |

Although it's probably against the rules at your school.. I used to sell candy at school. I'd buy it at bulk (full box) at someplace like Costco and then sell it at a markup. Nothing ridiculous... but if it cost me 28 cents per item.. sell it for 50 cents. I was always careful not to do it in class.. but I ALWAYS sold out and made money like you can't believe! |

i know that this is going to seem stupid because you live in las vegas, but try at a farm if there are any near by. they usually pay under the table (w/o govt taxes and with personal checks or cash). try anywhere that would be like a farm... good luck |

maybe you should start looking for a job (you're at the legal age).
First start finding out your interests. then see what you are good at.
that may help you find your job and which one will work out for you best. do this after school. or start up your own business. |

Baby sitting (don't sneer, boys do it too--get a certificate from the Red Cross in child care and CPR -- sometimes local hospitals provide them). My parents couldn't give me money, back in the dark ages, and that's how I made a decent amount every month....I did it a lot, and studied when the kids were in bed--got good grades too.
Are there bagger/shelf stocker jobs at your local grocery?
Is there a youth center in your area? Ask there if there's a list of people who need help. |
