Hi Catherine,

Here are a few ideas that my girls did to earn estra money before they had their drivers liscense.

Babysitting

House Cleaning

Cleaning Cars inside and out

Doing chores around the house to earn extra allowance

Bussing tables at a local pizza place

Getting some friends together and hold a car wash with the proceeds to fund your summer, split the money with the frineds that are there when you start,, work hard and are there when the last car is done.

Running errands for neighbors. They printed fliers that they would go to the grocery for them and bring them to their house. We lived 2 blockes from the grocer and in an elderly neightborhood.

Mowing lawns.

Getting an extendable squeegie, bucket and window cleaner and go around to the area independantly owned stores and offer to wash their windows.

Walk dogs

Go to a family owned restaurant and ask for a hostess job. Which is just seating the customers.

I made a deal with both my girls that what ever money they saved from age 14 to 16, that I would match it and they could use the money for a car.

My oldest daughter saved $1000 so I matched that, and my parents matched it and she had $3000 for a car.

My youngest daughter who was killed in her senior year of high school, first started selling lemonade by the gallon to the neightborhood, then she got a job as a busser at a pizza place which was a hard job, but she stuck it out. Then she got a jog as a waitress at the local pizza place and made great in tips.

At 15 we put her money in her first cd. Then about 6 days before her 16th birthday, she cam to me and said , mom I got to tell you something.

She had been saving all her tips, her lunch money, buying candy and selliing it to the kids at school and whatever else she could think of and along with her $1000 cd all together she had $3200 saved up!!!!

I was amazed and astounded, but I knew she had been working hard and was also an excellent student and involved in alot of extra activities like cheerleading, etc... Well

I had to match the $3200, and my parents had to match what she had saved, so all to gether she had $9600 to buy her car with on her 16th birthday.

She drove off the lot with a brand new Ford xr2, with all the extras. I have never been as proud of Jill as I was at her can do attitude. Once she set her mind to it, she made it happen.

I kind of have a feeling you are alot like my beloved daughter Jill. Make a list of all the possibilities, even if they sound silly or rediculous. Then start to concentrate on the ones you can actually start on now.

Some elderly will pay you to come bay each afternoon and read a couple chapters of a book to them. If you like that kind of thing, contact the nursinghomes and leave flies and ask the nurses to let the families of the patients that you are avaliable to read to their loved ones a couple hours each day.

And if you are good in school, run an add in your school paper, put a note on your school bullentin board and run an add in your local newspaper that your do tutoring of various kinds, expecially working with 4th to 6th graders when they have a more difficult time getting the basic concept of math which will affect their performance in the coming years.

If yo are artistic at all in any way, Offer a sumer Saturday art class for children limiting your class to 6, charging for the time and materials you use. Many mothers will take advantage of it just for a break in the summer. Who knows, you might have enough students to have a class each day.

Each week you make a different craft. I can halp you with great ideas for that. and the pay for this although it takes dedication when the rest of your firends are at the mall or swimming, you could make $15 per child for a 3 hour art experience.

These are just a few things. Hope it helps and leads you to find what works just for you. Good luck, Jackie b

How about this? You can quick review a website and then you'll get paid for $1.Imagine if you can review 6 websites a day and then you multiply it by 30 days..And this site turns out to be very legit(I’ve proved it myself), I just got my $75 ( for the second time!) transferred to my Paypal account this morning..wow,I mean not bad for an extra money ..
Totally free, totally awesome..I guaranteed you'll get addicted,,BUT NeVeR EvER try to sign up for more than one account, you’ll get banned for sure :0)

But first, you must have a Paypal account, if you don’t have one, click here:
https://www.paypal.com/row/mrb/pal=DS3QFC9ZWPXE2

And the second one,you gotta be 18 years old or older, but don’t worry, just fake your age coz they won’t find out anyway :0)
Ready to make money? Give it a try, you got nothing to lose…

When I was your age I made extra cash by scouring the streets for bottles with money back on them. (Domestos bottles were the prize, if I recall correctly, at 3D (1.5 pence) each!

Now that bottles are just to be chucked away that is no longer a source of income.

You could try the car wash game. The tidy the garden business, or even the newspaper delivery career (though you might find a queue at the newsagents door for that one).

In reality, let your job hunting experience be the best encouragement for you to do the very best in your school work. As you have already worked out!

I ask this question every week and nobody gives me any good advice, i am 15 and too am looking for a good job.
But i will tell you what i have learned.

'The work at home and make $200 an hour' links DO NOT work, i have read tons of things saying that 97.5% of them are cons.

You need family or good friend contacts to get a well paid job working a market or helping in a shop (so ask if you have).

You can always ask around you local town and ask in shops, make a day of it, maybe someone is intrested like in a hair salon

You can always get a paper round (which i have) but the pay can be extremely poor, i get upto £80 a month for it, not a lot for hard work.
But if you look in the Spar (if you have one close to you) they do very well paid ones upto £120, but you have to get up EVERY morning early, and you get used to it and think money money money.

Or you can sell stuff in school, like Coca Cola cans, get them in bulk in like the Pound shop where they can do, 4 for a £1 and sell them at 40p make 60p profit, but that is despreate and only lads do it in my school (i used too)

you could make soap or candle and sell them, you could babysit, or be a dog walker. Or how about doing lawn work for people. Do a paper route, or perhaps house sit for people while they are on vacation, you could also dog sit too. Or take care of an elderly person... be the one that goes and gets their groceries for them. The possibilties are endless. Just think and be creative.

would suggest babysitting, or hiring out to help the elderly with cleaning, cooking, etc.

Check out this list of sites for more ideas, hon.
