Open a savings account and put it in the bank. Eventually something will come around that you will want to spend the money on. In the meantime, the money is safe. And when you do find something you want to buy, you will have to make the effort to go to the bank to withdraw the cash. Doing that might make you think twice, if you really want the item after all. |

If you've spent all that time working for money, then donating to churches and charities, you should be responsible enough with money to know what to do with it. Put it in the bank and sit on it until you decide. |

Save it. You'll thank yourself when you are 18 and want to move out. If I had only saved all the money I had when I was a teenager I'd be rich. |

Save money.
With the economy doing bad right now,
that money could be a lifesaver in the future.
Although it seems wasteful to save it (to you, to me it's better), saving it will make the money add up to something you would need in the future. |

if there is not something you specifically want put it away in the bank for a rainy day! that way when a new purse comes out htat you just have to have, or your favorite band comes to concert near you, you can actually get it. and i dont think you are a spoiled brat at all! it is very nice of you to consider giving it to your church and other charaties!!
have fun! |

If you have no idea of what to spend it on you obviously don't N E E D it. So i think you should just save it. alteast until you think of something that you reallly want/need that way you wont regret it later |

Isn't it amazing how many people want you to give it to them? They spend all they have and now want to spend all you have as well. My sister is like that, she spends every penny, as fast as she gets it and is always in debt, always trying to borrow money she will never return, and trying to get me to buy her something useless just so she can have it for awhile, then pawn it the next time she gets in a bind.
Open a broker account such as TDAmeritrade, and put the money into stocks. Stocks right now are in the toilet, they will never get lower. Buy good sound stocks like GE and PCAR, then watch your money over the years, you will be a very rich girl. |

Hard earned money should be spent wisely, since you already have the things you want I would suggest saving it.
It's nice having money saved for vacations or in your case a car in the future.
Just because you have it, doesnt mean you have to spend it. Hold on to it.
Happy new year! |

Save it for a car, which will cost more then you'll ever think. And if your parents are buying your car, you'll be able to get modifications on it with your cash. |

Chances are you won't save it, although you should. Don't waste it clothes or anything that won't last too long, invest in something that will last for a long time, like a new computer, or a new tv or stereo, etc. Something that you can enjoy for years to come. |

Wow. thats pretty good. and really nice of you to give alot of your money to charities and stuff like that (:
i'd definately say with splitting up your money into different categories.
maybe put about 300 dollars (or more) away for you to spend on clothing? If there's anything that you need ( like shoes, sweaters, anything? ) And another 200 dollars for something else. But other than, i'd definately leave it in your bank account, ( if you have ! but you probably do. ) and saving it. Your'll eventually find something that will catch your eye, haha believe me!
but dont be a crazy spender, make sure you dont spend all of it in one place ! (: |

Seriously....I'd say save it until you have enough to invest in a CD acct. That way you have a good chunk of $$$ by the time you go off to college. You will need it believe me!!!! |

What an accomplishment at 14! You must be smart enough to figure this out if you were able to save 1K. Buy something you can use when you want to take your next 1K to go travel. Backpack, passport (something you won't outgrow). |

Keep saving it, just because you have $1,000 to spend doesn`t mean you have to spend it and truely shouldn`t. your 14 now, in 3 years your going to be entering the car world and stuff like that. Trust me when you enter into cars, its always good to have as much money as you can. Even if your parents buy one for you, still you have gas money and car insurance, and stuff like that. It`s fine to treat yourself to alittle bit of that money, but no sense and just blowing 1 grand just because you have it, it feels good knowing you always have money in the bank just incase. Good Luck |

Id keep saving. Youll be driving age soon. Id put it towards my first car. Even if your parents plan on purchasing u ur first car, show them how much more respibility u have by making the down payment.
I know when i was 14 , thats what i saved for. |

Invest it, you can never start off saving to early, you will thank yourself later, however feel free to spend some of it on what ever you want. Treat yourself to a nice shopping spree or take your friends out. Enjoy it you've earned it. |

ok, how about this? Put 500 in a savinngs account, so when you need to pay for a car when you reach 16/17 depending on where you live? And spend the other 500 on....
Living? eg just for clothes and going out?
Or...
perhaps a haircut? make up?
how about treating yourself to a nice bracelt or even a charm bracelet? they are quirky and not many people have them.
Why not buy yourself a games console? It depends really, if you like games.
If theres nothing specific you want, maybe it would be better to save it :) then you can buy something that may come out and you may really want it...? |
|

Your one and only source...
 |
save it for when you don't HAVE to ask what to buy. |

Well you are one lucky person. I would save it up to try and buy something in the future like a car or lessons for something. i would put a small amount of that money into shares or something and cash them out when they are high and you get more money :D |
