Regardless of what you do, there is NO easy way to make money (legally).

To earn money - you need to work (at whatever you do) very hard - and persist in it.
That is a fact of life.

there is no legal "easy" way to make money. as soon as you realize this, you will grow into a hard working person who makes money regardless if its easy or not.

especially if you are young and competition for jobs is high and limited.

establish yourself above the rest of the 16 year olds and find a real job

Tutoring pays good. Most of my friends get 10-15 dollars an hour.

Hi Erica:
firstly, it isn't difficult making money- that may sound silly but it's not if you follow a few rules;

Find out what it is that people don'neighborhoodand are prepared to spend money on. Here's what I'd do. I'd design an A5 flyer that says something like, HI, my name is Erica, I'm 16 years old and I live locally. I'd like to make some money. I noticed that (Blank) could do with some work, I'd charge you $ (blank) to do it for you if you think that's a fair price. Thanks, my phone number is123 456 789

Then go for a walk, notice any fences that may need some paint, yards that need tidying, windows that need cleaning etc, alternatively you could put together a letter for every store around you offering to typeset prices/specials/etc at $1 a page, maybe a notice on the local store offering to do newsleters, babysitting, pet walking, tutoring etc etc.

Try thinking a bit differently, look around at what people don't like doing and will give you money so they don't have to do it

Good Luck

Tony

if you find a way to make "easy money" pass it on.

i don't believe there's any such thing.

retail, fast food, baby sitting, paper route are your best bets.

Even if you were 18, you would find it difficult to work from your computer and make money. Those things are usually scams. Most "easy ways to make money" are scams. If it were really simple to sit on your rear at home all day and have money mailed to you, then everyone would be doing it. You'll likely have to make money the less-easy way. You'll just have to keep looking for a job. At least, where I live...there are so many grocery stores, fast food places, and restaurants hiring, because it's so hard to find good people in these parts. Just go around town and look for "Now Hiring" signs. If you don't see any, go in and ask if they're hiring. Not a lot of places like to hire 16 year olds that have no previous job experience, so it *can* be difficult. I own a business and I don't like to hire people who haven't had jobs before. Typically they don't have a good attitude about working. They think that a job is like school and you can just call in because you don't feel like working, or because you have something better to do. That's unfortunately not the case in the work world, and most people don't realize it till they've had a bit of experience, or until they actually *need* a job to live. However, I will occasionally hire people who haven't had jobs...as long as they present themselves well, are clean-cut, and don't seem like retards. Or if one of my current employees or somebody that I know vouches for them.

So if you have any friends, see if they can get you a job where they work. Or if you go to church, somebody at your church always knows somebody who is hiring, and they can recommend you. If neither of those are options, then go apply places and just make sure that you present yourself well. Act cheerful and outgoing when you turn in your application. Make it a point to greet the manager, don't wait for them to greet you first. Try to look confident and competent. And you'll eventually find a job. You probably won't "like" your job, but it's always nice to have money.

In the mean time, you might ask around and see if any of your parents friends or your teachers or adults from church might need a babysitter. You can make money like that. You can sell things that you have and don't need any more. You'd be surprised at what you can dig up that might fetch a few bucks. I was going through a box in my closet recently and found an old playstation game that I hadn't touched in years: Final Fantasy VII. Sold it on Ebay for $50. That's a quick, easy $50 for an old item that I didn't need any more.

Also, I don't know if you're old enough, but you might look into donating your plasma. I don't know if there are age restrictions, or if it still pays well. But back when I was 18, you could get $35 dollars for donating your plasma if you were vaccinated against Hepatitis B or something along those lines....and you could do it twice a week. Dunno what it pays now. Other than those, I don't know of any "easy" ways to get money. If getting money were really easy, then nobody would ever work, and nothing would get done.

if you have some money to invest, invest in companies that have a low stock price but will not go bankrupt and in 1-2 years you will make a whole bunch of money. That or sell **** on Ebay.
