Get a job. When I was 16 I started working at a photo shop. Many 16 year olds work at fast food restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Get a job and work. You'll have $1000 before you know it. |

Get a job! Even McDonalds will pay you around 9 bucks an hour. Work 20 hours per week for a month and that's 720 bucks, minus tax is around 600. in 2 months you're over 1000! |

If you are gifted as a simple handyman, then go register yourself as sole proprietorship within the County you reside; then go to Office Max and print out some simple flyers with your name your skills (make sure you brag a lot and embellish things that put you in good light). Use words like Highly Skilled, reliable, available 7 days a week, clean cut, young healthy handyman.
I can repair your roof, eaves, siding, do carpentry work, plumbing and general landscaping including trimming trees.
Make certain your cell number, home number and email are on the flyers. Drop the flyers on the doors at your immediate neighborhoods. Mention you will take only credit cards (this is safe because you wonr t get robbed, and can avoid bad checks from scheming home owners). Plus you have the flexibility of taking checks or cash from repeat customers after you know them and at your convenience. Get your company setup to accept credit cards thru Paypal. You only pay them when you get paid.
Good luck. Entrepreneurship made America great. |

Find a legitimate job this summer and figure out how much you need to save per week to earn the $1,000. If you have a decent job and work at least 20-30 hours per week, it won't be difficult. Just put the money away in a savings account and DON'T touch it. Assume you have 10 weeks to work this summer, you need to save at least $100 a week, but if you have more then save it.
Easy enough. Good luck! |

Earn money from a job or chores around the house.
Spend money conservatively. Don't go splurging on just anything that you want. Buy only what you need.
Its hard earning money so good luck. |

The basics:
Cleaning pets
Mowing lawns
Washing cars
Pulling weeds
Etc.. Etc.. Etc
Create flyers advertising yourself and your services. 500 pieces of computer paper should run you about $5. Have a set list of fees per service and do the math on how many you need to do of what to reach your goal. Keep your eyes on the prize. I hope this helps. |
