why save to buy? Just save and you will be wealthy when you grow up. If I had saved all the money I received or made...I would be well off right now! |

college, if not the actual tuition then money just to have because you will be too busy studying to get a job. I would definitely start saving today for college. |

Give it to charity
It would be awesome for your self confidence and valuable character building for the future.
If your actually looking for something materialistic to buy chances are what you end up buying isn't worthwhile.
If not i'd say save for college! you always need stuff when you get there!
Mind you if this isn't the answer your looking for a Guitar would be an amazing alternative! |

At this point, with the economy, you will need a down payment just to rent an apartment!!! Save up for your future! Otherwise, you will be sleeping in that car! |

The insurance to drive that car. A maintenance budget to pay for oil changes, future tires, and other repairs. And pad your savings account to keep up with gas prices.
A little longer range you might want to think about an education fund. |

Save up for spending money in college- unless your parents just really don't care, they probably won't give you that much spending money or let you run up their credit cards and you'll want to do stuff and end up using credit cards. Even if you get a scholarship, you'll end up spending more than you expect. If you start saving now you'll be set and when you go to college you'll think back to this day and be happy you saved the money.
Other than that, just save because you need to get into the habit. It doesn't have to be for anything in particular. |

Save extra cash for gas. Once you get your car, there's going to be days that you're bored friends are going to call and you won't have enough cash for gas! By the time you're 16 and driving gas is going to be $5.00 a gallon, maybe more. I'm a mom and should say save for college, but I thought when I was 15 what I would want. To have money to fill up my 76 Camaro, go to the Mall, shop for clothes and hang out with my buds! Still save a few $ for college ;0) |

Just save it up. Something you want will come along, and you'll have money for it. |

A guitar
If you are sitting around doing nothing but watching TV or messing around on the computer....you might as well do it with a guitar in your hands. It doesn't take that much effort, practice makes perfect, and before you know it you will have developed an impressive skill by just sitting around and doing nothing! |

University! I know that sounds lame, but if you don't have anything else you really want to buy right now, you may as well keep saving for a few more years. Then you can put the money towards university, something else big you haven't thought of yet (maybe a trip?) or just your future in general. I guess I just think that if you can't think of anything you want to buy now (I'm guessing that's why you asked?) you may as well keep saving until you can think of something you really want to spend your money on. |
