First i would suggest contacting the apartments first to see what their qualifications are and what exactly you would need to qualify in terms of credit, deposit amount, rental history or whether or not you will need a co-signor. Majority of apartment complex will try to work with you since they are also looking for a tenant to fill their empty apartments.
In terms of getting a loan, you need to be a little bit more specific...a loan to pay for a deposit for the apartment? or just to help out with other expenses? by knowing what you need the money for will help in knowing how much money you will need.
If it is just a personal loan depending on your credit file and income you migh need a co-signor but you can apply with any finance company for a personal loan. Not too many (any?) lending institutions give loans to pay rent. If you have a job and can show to a rental office that you are likely to be able to afford the rent, they would most likely let you sign a lease.
In general, for rental permission as well as mortgages, you need to establish a good credit history, mostly through having credit cards and using them while paying them off well. |
