Not to sound mean, but for the time being stop having kids. You obviously can't afford them and being pregnant also prevents you from earning income.

Otherwise, reduce your spending, sell your home and move into a smaller place (with a bigger family). Not a good alternative, but I can see no other way out.

Don't have any more kids and keep doing hard work. Terminate luxuries such as cable, internet, restaurants, alcohol, drugs, and non-essential food. Also exercise, it keeps optimism flowing.

Read this article:
http://workingonme.squarespace.com/journal/2007/12/8/how-to-get-out-and-stay-out-of-debt.html

Its a really good place to start, before you can help your situation you need to know what your situation is, this will help you work it out.
You can then use this information to decide the best option for you to move forward.

The most important thing is not to panic about it, I know your in a bad situation but panicing won't make it better, try to take a calm approach to it.

I'm sure you'll get many more helpfull answers too.

Please dont let this break you guys. 1. Pray to God on this. 2. Sit down and get a note book and start a Finance Comeback Plan. 3. Cut down on other bills.....Cable, eating out, turn off more lights in the house, cut showers to 5 minutes. Maybe even cancel cell phones and go to Pre paid cell phones...Metro PCS is good its like 40 a month unlimted calls and texts. ..Just think smart and economize. BEST WISHES. Love each other and those KIDS.. (( a friend in Orlando,FL ))

concentrate on getting rid of bad debt such as credit cards and personal loans. If you're in a really bad state where it looks like you're going to loose you home you should look at selling it, if you can get more than what you owe. If you don't sell the bank just takes your house to pay off your debt and you end up with nothing or bankruptcy. If you sell your house you can pay off all your debts yourself and hopefully have some money left over to help move and rent. I know this might sound hard with 3 kids and you wanting a home for them but I am in the same boat and I am able to provide a more stable home at the moment by renting. Then when you have been good and save look at buying in the future but secure yourselves now.

I've been doing some financial classes on the side so i would just suggest that you guys find a financial institution that could help you consolidate your debt. My neighbors were having the same problem and it helped them. They said they used primerica to help them. Its just a suggestion. Good Luck though and i hope everything works out with your marriage!

Well you are not alone..
You may have to bite the bullet and sell your home.
Do you have family you could live with until you get out of the hole? You could rent your home out until you are on your feet. Obviously you can't work and your husband can only do so much. If you don't have family that can help you can file for bankruptcy..but this is an absolute last resort.

I am not a financial adviser, but I can tell you what is helping me. Pay the minimum on the bills just to keep them happy, and off your back. Now put your debt(bills) in order from lowest to highest, now concentrate on eliminating the lowest debt first, then move onto the next and so on and so on. Obviously, your house will be the last, because I am sure it requires the most of your money.

But there are grants that the government does provide to improve your house, perhaps you should inquire about that, and use some of the money toward your debt.

Hi,
I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and improve my credit score. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

Ok, you can consolidate, but that will lower your credit. You are allowed a one-time severe disadvantage or hardship with most credit companies. You call them, tell them your problem, they will ask you when you can make another payment. When my dad got cancer, some of them let me wait up to 6 months to pay them. The problem, they continue to add the interest rate, and you usually can't use them during that time. You can also ask to settle on some of your debts. You call them, offer them 10% of what you owe and negotiate. Some money is better than no money to them. They also don't want to deal with collections. It's a tax write off for them-bad debt. The problem. You have that account permanently closed and you have to come up with the settlement money right away. Like, give them a credit card number over the phone kinda thing. Good luck!

1. Get a premium rate number and give that to creditors - so that when they call you - you get paid.

2. Buy a copy of Debt Cures by Kevin Trudeau - it will give you may strategies to reduce and eliminate your 'debts'

Okay, first stop thinking negatively, and start thinking positively. A worried mind can't think straight. This is probably the best advice I can give you. Secondly, you can do what everyone else said: cut on all cost possible. If you have to, cancel your damn cell phones, or at least one of them. Cut the cable, cut the tivo, turn off all the lights, etc.

In case all else fails, here's a never-say-die suggestion. Move in with some relatives for about six months, and RENT out your home! With the rent money you get, pay off the mortgage. Now you guys can pay more bills with the money that you would have otherwise put towards the mortgage. See, there's always a way, it all depends on what you're willing to do.
