In today's society, 10 million dollars is a lot, but it does not even compare to the vast wealth of those truly rich people. You are better off moving to the Midwest, where 10 million will go much farther than if you moved to a big city. But yes, you are considered very wealthy in my book. |

Well, depending on how you live. If you invest your money, save it, and use it wisely you'll be comfortable. |
|

Guess who's bored. Me.
|
Depends on how you want to live. My best friend just dropped 1.6 mil on a house in Atlanta, which shouldn't be a problem if you got 10. I would think it would go farther in Atlanta and Houston than New York. |

In NY, you would have a lot of money, but you're not really that rich. Things in NYC are pretty costly; houses, apartments, gas, parking, they all cost a lot in NY, a lot more than they would in other states. |

ten million is a lot of money. I currently work in New York and ten million will not get you far (this is according to "rich" people terms. My girlfriend works for millionaires that want to customize their New York Penthouses, which in themselves were already worth more than ten million. Then they put in a couple hundred thousand dollars for a kitchen, and some really cool stuff like basketball courts, full mosaic ceilings hand-painted and crafted furniture and they'll pass 10 million in a month or less. If you just wanted to live here and pay rent, you could get a decade or so out of that much I suppose. This all depends on how loosely you spend your money as it will anywhere. |

10 million bucks is rich anywhere. Rich people don't throw money away on rent, they buy then resell their homes. 10 million earns you $1000 interest every single day. You can live in Tokyo on $1000 a day. |

Yes you can do pretty much what you want. And are considered very rich for any area in the world with 10 million. If you invest this cash properly you never have to work again. |
|

Karlyyyy.
 |
Uhmm... New your not as much. Atlanta you would be considered richer than you would in new york. |
