I'd think so. Probably above average. |

It would be considered well off most places in the country. |

well from where I'm at it's a great salary |

It can be but really it depends on you. Can you live and save with this much money? I know people who earn large salaries and yet they never have any money or happiness because they spend like they earn. 107,000 a year is a respectable wage, dont blow it. |

Depends on what kind of work you are doing...
lol, for some jobs I wouldn't touch six figures. |

Most people would consider that being well off. But salary is but one part of the equation. Wealth is the other. What's your net worth? |

I would think for Texas that is a comfortable salary. Do you have a home? I would hope you donate and save for the future because you never know when you aren't going to have that income. Remember there is more to life then how much money you make, I hope you like you job. |

Just remember with any job know matter what it pays, we are only one step ahead of welfare. |

lately Texas is pretty cheap. 40 miles from Dallas at that income should be fine. |

What really matters is not how much you make, but how much you keep. If you make $107,000 but spend $107,001 you are broke. If you make $30,000 but only spend $20,000 you're much better off!! |

That is great for your area. |

yes. but as a person's income goes up the amount of money the HAVE to have also goes up. i read a story last year about a family of 7 living off of 30,000 a year, comfortably. |

Depending on where you live, but yes in most countrys that is definately well off. Where I live, the average I believe is about $60,000 a year |

For Dallas, which has a very low cost of living, this is a very good salary. |

I don't think well off is the correct term. Certainly a 6 figure income is impressive. One wouldn't be considered poor with such a salary. In my opinion, someone who is well off makes 500 grand or more a year. |
