If you live in Africa, its good! If you live in the US, its very bad. |

It depends on where you live: in Alaska 21,000 is plenty.
in Southern California 21,000 is poverty. |

It depends on how much you spend a month.. if nothing, then yes it is good.
how much is rent and utilities? food and gas?
but hey, if it is paying more than you are earning now, take it, and then look for another better paying job...
its all relative.
good luck.

if its more than you get now, it is good |

Well everything is relative. If it's more that you get now for doing the same work then yes it's good. If you are married and have kids then no it's not good, but again if it's more than your on now yes.
If you can give us a few more details than we will be better able to answer this. |

what country are you in? It is good in some countries others not so much. It also depends on what you are doing for this money. If you sitting on your butt to make the money then it is easy money for a check. |

good i guess for you, but not very much if you have a family and such |

If it is more than you make now, and subtracting the cost of making it doesn't lower it below what you are now making , then it is good. |

I would consider it bad; but if it is more than you make now it is good. After taxes, insurance, 401k contribution, etc it is going to be closer to $1000 a month though...so hopefully you have cheap rent! |

Oh man, that is HUGE! you could be a thousandaire in like 1000/1750 of a month! a multi-thousandaire after just one and a bit! Do you know how many gumballs that could buy?! 84000 a year!!! |

It's good if you still live with your parents and your only expense is partying. |

More than you get now? Pretty good to me...
Still not a whole lot of money though. |

If you do not have a family and several people to support I would say this is pretty good for you, but if you have a family this isn't so good. |

If that is a step up, then it is good from that standpoint. However, it is not a whole lot. So I would consider if there will be opportunities for advancement and promotion. That will help determine if it will be good long term |

Well, it depends on a bunch of different things. If it's more than you make now, that's a good thing. In the big scheme of things, $21k a year isn't a lot (I make about $24k/year and I seriously don't think I could make it on my own where I live on that amount). However, if this job has potential for advancement, that may be worthwhile. I mean, if there is a future opportunity for a raise or a promotion, then maybe it's worth it. It's also relative to where you live. I live out in the middle of nowhere in Virginia where any decent job requires me to drive 15-20 miles. My job doesn't pay much but I have excellent benefits including insurance (for everything), a retirement plan (it's a state job) and my boss is retiring in about a year so I'm in line for his job, making over $50k/year. So you really just have to weight the benefits. Besides, if it makes more than you make now, you can always take it until something better comes along. |

No, not really but if your bills are not that high then it is great spending money or put in savings |

If it is more than you make now, I guess it is good. If it will pay your bills and allow you to live, then it is great. |

keep in mind taxes! your salary may be 21,000 but that's typically before taxes so you do not bring home $1750 a month. |

It's just a little over average. But normally you would not have much left over after paying all the bills. |

that is alright for now but that also depends on where u live |

If it's better for you, take it. But it's still pretty low. |

it is a decent amount of money if you are single. not so much if u are thinking of getting a family. |

Depends on your expenses, but I wouldn't settle for anything less than 30,000. |
