Yes, it is very good, almost twice the national average. However, it will be subject to the higher rate of tax, plus national insurance, so the actual takehome pay will be considerably less. |

yes i would say so i am married with 6 children and me and hubby only take home around £40.000 a year so £60.000 is quite a lot for one person to make must have a good job lol |

It is okay but not hugely good, I would guess that they are in middle management if they are in industry, senior management in education or medicine, or even very high up in the clergy. I would be happy to earn that but not with more than one child that is in education at the junior stage. I would not be able to afford to live at the standard I live at without a combined income of seventy to eighty thousand a year and it is just me, my partner (she earns the most) and the dog. |

In my country, it would be a large some of money. I am working in a federal government agency and we are about 390 people working in this outfit. I have been doing some calculations and to be frank with you, that amount is more than what all the staff in our organisation get as our monthly take-home pay. |
