If that's your disposable income (IE the money you have AFTER all bills,rent etc paid) then I would say yes it is a larger amount than most people where I am have to spend each month.
Mine was only ever about £100 a month and I was on £20k a year but our rent is expensive (although cheap for where we are) and nowadays it's more like £10 lol so £600 is a great amount to have left over each month for us!
So as others have said, it is all relative! |

it depends what your out goings are and what other assets you have. £600 would be good going for me at the moment - I'm constantly in my over draft at the mo - paying for our wedding! |

The average wage in the UK is about £24-26k depended on who you believe, which leaves a comfortable sum every month after outgoings.
At a guess, £600 is probably below averavge for a current account, but I doubt the average is much over £1000 - because having a lot more in there is just pointless given the interest rates you get off a current account. |
