I have had two accounts at BofA since 1978. I have never had a problem and always gotten very good customer service. I am never charged to speak to a teller lol. I have a free checking account and free checks, free overdraft coverage and can access and transfer funds back and forth and get my balances and what has cleared 24/7 by phone and I am never charged for this. What kind of acounts do you have? |

No, I'm a long time customer and never been charged to speak to a teller. FYI: For overdraft protection, open a savings account with them and link your checking account to it. If you go over, they will automatically move money from your savings account to your checking account for $5 fee.
Banks in general make most of their money from fees, ATM withdrawals and such. |

LOL. I do have a BofA account because they gave me $100 to open it. But I'd say their customer service for the little guy is FAR below the industry standard. If, however, you have a spare mil to invest, they'll treat you like gold. |

I have noticed that the Management has deterirated in the past year or do. Some "executive" - in charge of Branch Operations is running on one cylinder and is getting away with it, Perhaps he is the CEO's son in law? It is a pity to see it go down the tube. |

They certainly charge you for every little thing. Need to talk to the teller? It'll cost you. Heck, just walking through the door will cost you. I recommend using a credit union. There's no fees, no worries, no hassle. |

personally,i detest b.of a.,they suck! i had a hard time closing accounts with all sorts of b.s. charges unlike any other banks. so i feel proud (as the common man against the evil banking and credit conglomerates) being able to influence their prey by stating,b.of a sucks! go elsewhere. |

Hell yes I had overdraft protection with them and was over my account by 5 cents 1 nickle and the bastards let every check I wrote bounce I ended up owing them over 5 hundred dollars. I sat with bank managers and even wrote letters and they still would not budge. yes I went over my available balance but damn by a nickle I feel they should have been a little more understanding I was a customer for over 5yrs
