it's perfectly fine to have as many accounts as you'd like.
this is actually a very smart thing to do if you are keeping more than 100k in your accounts, as the FDIC insurance that banks get is limited to 199k PER ACCOUNT.
so, if you tend to keep a lot of money in highly liquid accounts, splitting the money into different accounts is advisable. |

Of course. You can have as many as you want. It's not a bad idea to keep your emergency fund completely separate. Make it difficult to get to the money so you won't be tempted to spend it on non-emergency things. |

Of course. Most people have several accounts. You can have as many as you'd like.
Not sure why you want them at different banks. You can have a checking and savings at the same bank. |

What country do you live in? Most countries that support free trade and enterprise tolerate you opening as many bank accounts as you want. |
